Sometimes I yearn
to tear the sky apart,
like light exploding out of darkness,
dancing ‘cross some unknown windswept plain.
Amazed, surprised, perhaps perplexed,
I’d reel to find my balance
on a far off world hung shining
in a black forever,
bejeweled with dizzying, spinning stars!
